The Responsible Charter for using the kite / wing and windsurfings spots

When you're out kitesurfing, wingfoiling or windsurfing it’s essential to protect the places you love, respect local rules and promote a positive image for the sport. Here’s a guide on how to practice common sense while having fun on the water.

Think Before You Fly

Kitesurfing is exhilarating but it comes with responsibilities, especially when sharing the spots with others.

Be friendly – say “hello”, assist with launching and landing and keep an eye on less experienced riders if you’re confident enough to help.

Safety first: Always prioritize safety on the water. Make sure to take lessons before getting started, never underestimate the power of nature and do NOT overestimate your own skills.

Avoid overcrowding: If the beach is packed consider finding another spot. A crowded session isn’t fun for anyone.

Respect other riders and water users: Follow local rules and regulations, stay informed and cautious.

Protecting Nature

Kitesurfing and wind spots are often found in beautiful, natural environments. It’s up to us to keep them that way.

Leave no trace: If you can’t properly dispose of your trash or recycle it, take it with you. Always aim to leave the beach cleaner than you found it.

Respect wildlife: Be conscious of local plants and animals. Avoid disturbing wildlife and steer clear of sensitive vegetation.

No open fires or barbecues: Unless authorized, avoid lighting fires in natural areas. This can damage the environment and is often prohibited.

Be a Good Guest

When staying near private property or using shared spaces, be considerate of local lifestyles and respect the area.

Introduce yourself: greet the owners and ask for permission if necessary.

Limit your setup: Avoid setting up large gear (awnings, tables, tents) in parking or public areas unless explicitly allowed. This can damage our reputation.

Keep it quiet: Be mindful of noise levels, avoid bringing loudspeakers or blasting music.

We are a community - let's keep it that way!
